Open House Honors LGBT Military Service

LGBT Veterans & Active Duty in San Diego,

You are invited to meet with fellow LGBT Active Duty, Reserves, Guard and Veterans as guests of American Veterans for Equal Rights for a luncheon at the Bamboo Lounge (& T-deli) honoring your service. A new San Diego Chapter of AVER will be formed and you are encouraged to be a part of this effort to make our veteran services, companionship and advocacy available to those in the San Diego area.

Gay combat veteran and AVER President, LTC Steve Loomis (Ret) and Vice President CPO Julz Carey (Ret) welcome all LGBT American armed forces active duty service members, veterans, reservists, guardsmen, and supporters “to share the Pride” at this chapter start-up luncheon honoring LGBT military service past and present.

The luncheon will be Sunday, 29 March 2015 from 1 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bamboo Lounge , located at 1475 University Ave, San Diego, CA. Request you RSVP by Thursday, 26 March 2015 at sloomis@swcp.com. Our website is at www.aver.us

Membership is free for active duty and reserve personnel; Free Life Membership for WWII and over 80 vets, regular membership is $35.
