Julz Carey

Julz Carey served from 1976-1997 in the US Coast Guard, and retired as a Chief Boatswain’s Mate. During her time in service, she was stationed both afloat and ashore specializing in maritime search and rescue, federal law enforcement, adult education, and a tour in recruiting.  She now lives with her wife Marion and their pets near Seattle, WA, where she served for several years as the Chapter President of AVER Puget Sound.
