Served in the Women’s Army Corps as an enlisted Supply Specialist 1973 -1975. In 1975 The Women’s Army Corps started integrating female to male serves branches. I was part of that Historic moment. On September 1975 I was placed into the US Army Quartermaster branch. Continued serving the enlisted ranks in Direct Supply Support organizations as a Sergent First Class Diane Stubel.
In 1980 I received orders for Drill Sergent School, Ft Jackson, South Carolina and Served 3 years. At that time, I decided to apply for Quartermaster Warrant Officer Basic Training and was accepted. This was the first Basic Training Warrant Officer for all branches services, graduated as a CW2 Warrant top in my class. I was assigned to mostly all Division Units. Managed automated supply support systems for several different supply commodities. Serve as a Chief Warrant Officer from 1983 to 1994 Retirement.
Continued working after military retirement with the Federal Government Naval Supply Center, Philadelphia from 1995-2016. Served with the Defense Logistics Agency DLA as a Supply System Analyst in support of all military serves. Spent two years in DC revamping the entire DLA Supply Systems. Return then volunteer for a 1-year tour to Afghan to teach the Afghan Army and Police Force Supply Logistics under DLA Team of 5 personnel. Was awarded the highest Superior Civilian Service Award. First time DLA sent personnel to a war situation.
