American Veterans for Equal Rights(AVER) Lone Star Chapter participated in the Austin Pride Parade on 10 August at 20:00 hours. AVER led the parade with the color guard. The parade lasted hours and involved over 10,000 participants. We hope to see you there next time!

American Veterans for Equal Rights(AVER) Lone Star Chapter participated in the San Antonio
The Pride Bigger than Texas Pride parade on 29 Jun at 21:00 hours. AVER led the parade with the color guard. The parade lasted three hours and involved over 5,ooo participants. We hope to see you there next time!

Bataan Chapter members presented colors at this year’s Pride on the Pitch game for the NM United Soccer Team in Albuquerque, NM.

American Veterans for Equal Rights attended the Texas Veterans Commission Women Veteran Programs and all of the other organizations that came out to Rev Mortgage Center to celebrate Women Veterans Recognition Day! Great guest speakers, gift bags, lunch, door prizes, resources and sisterhood! We educated the women veterans on AVER mission that supports LGBTQ+ equal rights.

On a warm Friday afternoon on June 14th, the Bataan Chapter joined in the small, but very nice Kirkland Air force Base Pride event held on base. The chapter presented a banner to the pride organizing committee that was designed by Steph Patten. The had a fun run, dunk tank, bean bag toss, food trucks, and a host of other groups that were present.
